I love this place! I'm so happy they are open. Much needed in this neighborhood. I ordered The Little Prince. Holy cow! It was so good. This was last week and I'm still thinking about it. Also, the sandwich was huge. I had my 5 year old with me and one of the employees saw me struggling to figure out what to order for her and he let me build my own for my kiddo and she was thrilled. She felt so important that she had her own "signature" sandwich and has asked to go back. This is a great addition to the area. Nice chill place to relax and eat good food.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing. I had the hot Marty McFly Panini which was large enough, I am taking half home. The hot chi tea is the best I have had and the price is less than most places. The desserts all look yummy. They are open seven days and week. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and mostly young people are here. With all that is going on in our country, it was nice to be able to relax, breathe and feel welcome! Thank you for being here Well Met Cafe.

This is a fantastic little spot. I wish I had known about it sooner. It may have helped squash the existential dread that comes with being a human. The fact that they have a red velvet cookie just makes me very very sad that I had never been here before. The service was wonderful, the sandwiches were very tasty. I will personally recommend both the Sarah Connor, and the Harvey Dent. Even if I think those are strange names for those particular sandwiches. I don't think there's anything two-faced about horseradish and sauerkraut together, but whatever. A neighborhood Cafe on par with any of the best neighborhood cafes in St. Louis. I only wish that it was on this side of the park being the side that I live on which is the opposite. However it is only a 5-minute drive away. Tip your baristas and service workers or else you are going to Buddhist hell. This is a very important distinction to make because there are a hundred hells in Buddhism. So you know you got that going for you if you're cheap. Aside from that, I took my fiance here on a date after spending too much money at a bookshop which I will also be reviewing. And we were very much not disappointed.

What a great place! Got an iced mocha, and the very kind barista (Sarah) recommended the brown sugar scone so I got one—ended up going back for a second one. Best scone I’ve ever had! The latte was also fantastic. The vibe is more “mid-afternoon work meeting” than “I’m here to hang.” Clean and pleasant all around.

Amazing new spot in Shaw to further add to the amazing culture & quality food/beverage options in the neighborhood. The cafe has a very nice and upscale vibe to it, but very relaxed as well, like one where you could just hang out all day in. I had the Morty Smith egg sandwich and my mom had the Porky Pig (their version of the BLT). We both enjoyed them, and will be back to try the other options in the menu!

Chai and panini tasted mainly like sweet milk and cheese respectively. Cookie was stale and $4. Overall, the experience was okay, but it was crowded and filled with folks on their laptops so it was hard to find a seat. The service was good and pretty fast though! Not a good place for foodies, but a convenient stop for a sandwich if you’re in the neighborhood in the morning.

Located in the vibrant Shaw neighborhood, Well Met Café is a buzzing hotspot that more than lives up to its name. It’s packed with happy patrons. On my visit, I ordered the Morty breakfast panini, and it’s a must-try. Perfectly crisp on the outside and packed with cheese, it was pure comfort food at its finest. I paired it with a warm bowl of tomato soup and it became the ideal duo to ward off the chill of a freezing snow day. Put Well Met Café on your list.

Lovely spot for a coffee, some food and hanging with a pal or working solo! Everyone that has worked the counter has been kind, friendly and attentive. Such a great space in a great neighborhood. Love that the folks that work here keep water out for the neighborhood pups (and put up with my crazy pittie when we come by for a quick treat at the side window!) So happy you’re in the neighborhood, Well Met!
